As I sit quietly at the piano
Resting my fingers on the keys
Letting them carry me
To somewhere I belong
As one tone leads to another
I listen to them weave
A net we call songs
I try to keep . . . in time

"in and out of time" is a live improvisation on the piano with a laptop, originally done as an exercise for a contemporary dance performance "The Man In The Center" by T.H.E. Dance Company (Singapore).
The music in this album was consequently not used for the actual performance.
